Manufacturing bases and

Since its expansion into Taiwan in 1973, the Shinmei Electric Group has been swiftly globalizing its manufacturing bases ahead of other companies. Major products are manufactured at three bases in China: Shanghai, Taicang, and Dalian.
In addition, from the perspective of BCP, we are preparing to start contract production at a partner factory in Vietnam in 2024, and to start domestic production in Yokohama City in 2025 using fully automated assembly and inspection machines.

Our main products are produced at the following three bases in the China region.

SHANGHAI SHINMEI ELECTRIC CO., LTD.
This is the mother factory of the Shinmei Denki Group, established in 1988. It has functions for mold design and manufacturing, pressing, molding, and assembly. Recently, it has been actively working on full and partial automation of processes.

TAICANG SHINMEI ELECTRONIC CO., LTD.
Located about two hours by car from the Shanghai factory, it produces switches, solenoids, and relays. The current factory was newly built in 2013 and can also accommodate large-scale automated equipment.

Established in 2015 as the third factory in the Chugoku region. We are responsible for product assembly, which accounts for approximately 30% of our sales, mainly for switches and solenoids. We are also ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified.
